Phase 1 & Phase 2:
3 - 6 Months

Understanding Current State

Our process always begins with a deep dive into your data. The HIVE team submits an information request to obtain relevant documents and any necessary background material. Once this information is fully provided Workplace Strategy can begin.

Defining Future State

After reviewing and assessing the current state, we begin the work of defining your ideal future state. Using various tools, the HIVE team will work alongside your stakeholders to identify the various gaps and opportunities and co-create a Workplace Strategy that illustrates your ideal office ecosystem. We complete this phase with a final vision session and test fit design that determines the perfect size, location, and balance of spaces required to create a custom-fit work environment for your company.

Phase 3:
2 - 6 Months

Market Study & Real Estate Transition

Now that we know the size and location, we work with your broker team to find the best opportunity in the market. To best ‘fit’ we oversee landlord test fits for proposed spaces and determine the opportunities and constraints of the proposed spaces to enable you to make an informed decision. This phase ends with a secured transaction.

Phase 4:
6 - 18 Months

Detailed Design, Construction, and Change Management

The HIVE team coordinates with expert designers and architects to prepare final design concepts for working drawings. Once a design is approved, and permits are in place, construction can begin, and your dream becomes a reality. HIVE works with your leadership teams, employees, and appointed champions to communicate and engage in the new work environment throughout this process. We desire to align your teams on the strategic objectives to enable a new hybrid way of working.

Phase 5:
Life of the Lease

Leading the Change

Change in action – after many months of planning and design, tactics are finally put into practice and your workplace ecosystem is brought to life. We work with your leadership and employee champions to enable them to lead the change, manage the activity and curate new connected experiences for employees.
